It is not overly sweet and offers a sophisticated, authentic tea flavor. Distinctly earthy and aromatic matcha taste that avoids heavy, artificial sweetness, true to its French Japanese roots, the sweetness in remains subdued, rich yet remarkably delicate without feeling heavy. Agree the price point a little more, but it quality over quantity as this location is closed at lumch and noted on their website that every Lady M cake is made by hand, honoring precision and patience. From the careful preparation of each crêpe to the final layering and finish, craftsmanship is at the heart of everything they create. This location a boutique is a clean, comfortable hidden gem with easy parking featuring plush seating.

Everyone already knows this place charges absurd prices for cake, so let’s put that aside. Apparently, they now charge extra for a tiny bag of ice with takeout orders. Seriously? You’re already charging $12 for a single slice of cake, and somehow a few pieces of ice are an additional expense? That is not premium service. It is shameless nickel-and-diming. At this point, the pricing feels less like confidence in the product and more like seeing how much customers will tolerate. Charging luxury-dessert prices while treating a small bag of ice like an optional upgrade is ridiculous. The audacity is honestly impressive, but not in a good way.

The service was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I placed an online pickup order expecting a convenient pickup process, but I was told to wait in the regular line anyway. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. The female employee who helped me had a noticeable attitude and was not welcoming at all. In addition, other customers were provided utensils, while my order was not. It felt inconsistent and careless. I came here expecting the premium customer experience that Lady M is known for, but unfortunately this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. I hope management takes customer service more seriously in the future.

My favorite desserts. The Rose flavor crepe cake is very fragrant, rich, creamy and delicious. The Orange flavor crepe is very refreshing. Recommend both. Quite expensive and a treat for special occasions.

I had such a wonderful experience at Lady M in Los Altos, and I have to give a heartfelt shoutout to Alger for making it truly special. From the moment we arrived with our group, Alger went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We ordered the strawberry matcha cake, which was absolutely beautiful and delicious, and Alger thoughtfully took care of every detail, he provided utensils, plates, and napkins so we could enjoy it seamlessly. What really stood out was the extra care and attention: Alger offered helpful suggestions for gold candles and even a happy birthday sign, which made the celebration feel complete and so thoughtfully put together. It’s rare to come across service that feels this genuine and attentive. Alger made the entire experience feel warm, effortless, and memorable. Because of this, I will absolutely be returning to Lady M for future cakes and celebrations of all kinds. Highly recommend!
